Leicester City Giving Free Beer, Mince Pies To Fans At Manchester City Match

Leicester City fans are receiving a special treat on Boxing Day after the club announced that they would be giving away free beer (or water) and mince pies.

Yes, Foxes supporters travelling to the King Power Stadium to watch their side take on Manchester City will be able to pick up a drink (only one per ticket holder, folks) and a bit of food between 12 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

According to the club’s official website, there will be drinks and mince pie collection points set up at the arena.

Drinks collection points:

  • North Stand near to the shirt printing booth.
  • East Stand to the right of turnstiles 30 and 31.
  • South Stand to the right of turnstiles 19 and 20.
  • West Stand to the right of turnstiles 10 and 12.

Mince pie collection points:

  • Opposite the Foxes Fanstore next to the totem pole.
  • On the brick weave near to turnstiles 30 and 31 in the East Stand.

Oh, and there will also be a ‘Fan Village’ set up opposite the Foxes Fanstore.

From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Foxes families can enjoy a live band, face painters and fairground rides for free.

Sorry, Manchester City fans. You’ll have to pay for your beer.

Pep Guardiola’s men are second in the Premier League and four points behind first-place Liverpool after losing 3-2 Crystal Palace, with Andros Townsend scoring an incredible 35-yard volley.

Meanwhile, the Foxes are ninth in the league after 18 matches.

But hey, Leicester
fans are probably used to getting free beer now. Just sayin’ (see below).
