How Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Ruined Rio Ferdinand On His First Day At Manchester United
Rio Ferdinand has revealed how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer absolutely ruined him on his first day training as a Manchester United player, as the retired striker takes over as interim manager at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has been brought hired by the United hierarchy to replace the outgoing Jose Mourinho until the end of the season, with the Red Devils currently enduring their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.
The Norwegian will be in the hot-seat for the rest of the season, and many fans are hoping he’ll bring back some smiling faces to the Theatre of Dreams.
But Ferdinand has shone a light on the Baby Faced Assassin’s tough side.
Having completed a British record £30 million move from Leeds to United in 2002, Ferdinand was welcomed to the club by Solskjaer, who couldn’t wait to get an early dig in: Brilliant.
How well do you think Solskjaer will fare as Man Utd interim boss?
So unbelievable happy to see Ole Gunnar Solskjær as the new manager of #MUFC. So proud of him :v:
Solskjær new manager for Man U. That’s just insane!! Being a Norwegian and having the pleasure of playing with and against him, I am so proud of him! It’s a great opportunity for him as a manager. This shows everything is possible with hard work! I wish him all the best:top::soccer:
Solskjaer is one of the most decent human beings I’ve met in football. He’s also, quietly, one of the most determined and mentally tough. He understands exactly what United should be, on and off the pitch. Cardiff was a mistake; he didn’t do well. But as interim v good choice
