Unseeded American Danielle Collins earned the biggest win of her career, beating second seed and 2016 champion Angelique Kerber 6-0 6-2 to reach her first Grand Slam quarter-final.
0130 KVITOVA STORMS INTO QUARTERS
Eighth seed Petra Kvitova has reached her first Australian Open quarter-final since 2012 after a commanding win over American youngster Amanda Anisimova.
The Czech struck 18 winners to win 6-2 6-1 in just 59 minutes.
