Dominic Solanke: Liverpool striker has Crystal Palace medical ahead of January loan
The The Eagles are in need of firepower up front and manager Roy Hodgson is keen to get someone in as soon as possible
Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has reportedly had a medical at Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old had been tipped to join the Eagles when the January transfer window opens, with the London side in desperate need of more firepower and manager Roy Hodgson told talkSPORT a player of Solanke’s class would be a welcome addition.
Ahead of the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, Palace chairman Steve Parish hinted a deal for the player was on the cards.
“We are trying, these things are never straightforward but we really are trying to get someone in early if we can,” he told beIN sports.
“It will make a big difference and we think it will lift everybody.
“For once, the papers are not miles off what we’re looking for.”
